Job summary

TalentBurst is seeking a RN Tele House Supervisor for a 13-week contract in West Allis, WI. Work 12-hour nights, 3 days/week, with float to Med/Surg units as needed. Requires EPIC experience, BLS, NIHSS, and RN licensure with at least 2 years MS experience.

Shifts include weekend rotation and holiday coverage; on-site parking is provided. Start date Oct 12; compensation includes weekly stipends and base pay per hour. Eligible for RTO up to 7 days.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of RN Med/Surg experience.
• BLS and NIHSS certifications required.
• ACLS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Float to Med/Surg units as assigned by House Supervisor.
• Provide care during 12-hour night shifts with 36 hours weekly.
• Collaborate with RNs, CNAs, and tech staff to ensure patient safety.

Night Shift 12 hours/day 3 days/week

Title: RN Tele House Supervisor
Location: West Allis Wisconsin 53227
Duration: 13 Weeks

Shift: 12hr Night Shift (36)

Clinical Interviewing- Yes

On Call, Call Back Requirements: No call

Weekend Rotation: Every other weekend

Holiday Requirements: One holiday per contract period based on the needs of the organization

Floating Requirements: Must be able to float to all Med/Surg units

• Level III NICU
• Primary Stroke Center
• Hospital Beds: 277

General Information:

• Beds: varies

Minimum Years of Experience: At least 2 years of RN M/S experience

• Will you accept a first-time traveler: Yes

Patient Ratios: Depends on staffing - average is up to 6 patients per nurse

Required Licensure & Certifications:

• BLS, NIHSS
• ACLS - preferred

Skills required:

• General Med/Surg skillset; Traches, Chest Tubes, read/interpret cardiac rhythm strips, Lasix gtts, Insulin gtts, Heparin gtts, wound vacs

Support within the Department:

• CNA/Tech
• HUC
• RNs
• Rapid Response Team
• Phlebotomy – peripheral lab draws
• Charge Nurse
• Telemetry monitoring: central with tele tech

Technology/Equipment:

• EMR: EPIC - required
• IV Pump: Alaris
• Med dispensing: Pyxis

Floating: If yes, where: To any M/S unit – assignment will be given by checking in with the House Supervisor

Orientation (facility and unit) : 1 shift

Scheduling:

• Weekend rotation: every other
• Holiday Expectations: every other major holiday
• Clinical Interviewing Services participants only: RTO: As part of our program, we approve up to 7 days of RTO, if the traveler is willing to extend their contract to accommodate. Are you comfortable with this: Yes, up to 7 days
• Schedule cycle: 6 weeks
