Job summary

Mary Free Bed Rehabilitation is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the Float Pool, rotating among inpatient units to support nursing care campus-wide. The role offers a 10% increase above base rate and a 36-hour workweek with day/night shifts.

Primary location is the Main Hospital in Grand Rapids, MI, with benefits including health insurance, PTO, and tuition reimbursement. A home unit will be assigned for administrative purposes, while scheduling is across multiple units.

Qualifications

• Licensure: Registered nurse in Michigan.
• Associate degree in nursing required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• CRRN certification encouraged for development.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• 2 years RN experience preferred in rehab/acute care.
• Strong critical thinking, delegation and leadership.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care within license scope and as required by law.
• Coordinate care and delegate tasks to non-licensed staff.
• Participate in performance improvement and quality initiatives.
• Promote patient safety and report near misses or adverse events.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
