Qualifications

• Technical Diploma/Certificate Nursing is required.
• Associates Degree Nursing is required.
• Bachelor's Degree Nursing is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assesses and diagnoses patient and family needs to provide quality care.
• Develops, discusses, and communicates a realistic plan of care with patient and family.
• Implements medical plan of care, nursing interventions, and procedures as needed.
• Evaluates problems and patient responses to ensure quality care.
• Maintains up-to-date nursing documentation for the health team.
• Performs duties in scope of service and teaches patient and support person.
• Promotes teamwork to meet department goals.
• Maintains current knowledge, licensure, and pursues growth.
• Float throughout Baptist Health Care System as required.
