Job summary

MUSC Lancaster Medical Center and MUSC Chester Medical Center are seeking an adaptable Float Pool RN to join our team. You will work across emergency, medical-surgical, telemetry, and neurology progressive care units, bringing skilled nursing care to a variety of patients.

This role offers 36 hours per week with 12-hour shifts. You will collaborate with diverse teams, provide patient- and family-centered care, and pursue ongoing professional growth within MUSC.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
• SC or compact-state RN license required.
• Current BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care addressing physical, emotional, spiritual, cultural, religious, and environmental needs of patients and families.
• Perform assessments, develop nursing diagnoses, plan and implement interventions, coordinate care, provide health education and promotion, and evaluate patient outcomes.
• Deliver age- and developmentally appropriate care in line with nursing standards and MUSC policies.
• Direct and lead assigned team members while collaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary teams.
