Job summary

The Staff Pad is partnering with a Helena, MT hospital to recruit an experienced Registered Nurse for a Float Pool on the Night Shift. This role offers 0.9 FTE or 0.75 FTE within a Full Time schedule, supporting diverse units and patient populations.

You will deliver patient-centered care, participate in interdisciplinary teams, and grow your clinical skills across Behavioral Health, Clinical Decision Unit, ICU, and Women’s & Children’s Services.

Qualifications

• Montana RN license required and current.
• Minimum two years of acute care RN experience.
• Ability to independently manage Float Pool responsibilities.
• BLS and ACLS required (ACLS within 6 months).
• Certification in Med/Surg and/or Geriatric Nursing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care using the nursing process across departments.
• Collect and organize patient health information to support decisions.
• Collaborate with Unit Director, Manager, and physicians to ensure outcomes.
• Perform comprehensive assessments and accurate documentation per policy.
• Maintain competency to support multiple specialty areas.
• Adapt quickly to changing patient needs and environments.
• Support ICU, Behavioral Health, CCU, and Women's & Children’s Services as needed.
