Job summary

Medical City Plano, part of HCA Healthcare, is seeking a PRN Float Pool MS PCU Registered Nurse to join our acute care team in Plano, TX. You will provide goal-directed nursing care, advocate for patients, and coordinate with physicians and the care team in a high-acuity PCU environment.

Required: 2+ years in an acute care setting, BLS within 30 days of start, Texas RN license (or compact), and an Associate Degree with BSN pursued within 24 months.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in acute care; PCU experience preferred.
• BLS must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• Registered Nurse licensed in Texas or compact.
• Associate Degree; BSN required within 24 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide goal-directed nursing care and advocate for patients.
• Coordinate care with the healthcare team in a PCU setting.
• Practice autonomously utilizing evidence-based practices.
