Job Description

This job acts as a leader in the provision of patient care using the nursing process within the framework of the Nurse Practice Act, ANA Code for Nurses, and Scope & Standards of Practice. It involves delegating, directing, and assisting team members, ensuring quality patient outcomes, respecting diversity, and supporting organizational goals. The nurse demonstrates professional responsibility and accountability for their practice, aligning with the organization's nursing philosophy.

Education
  • Required: Registered nurse diploma.
  • Preferred: Associate or bachelor's degree in nursing.
Work Experience
  • Required: 2 years of relevant and recent nursing experience in assigned unit(s).
Certifications
  • Required: Current RN license in the state of practice.
  • Required: BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
  • Preferred: Certification in clinical specialty area.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Proficiency with computers and software applications.
