Job summary

Atrium Health Cleveland/Nursing Float Pool is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse to support multiple Medical‑Surgical units in Shelby, NC. The Float RN provides high‑quality, patient‑centered care across shifts, rotating weekends, and adapting to dynamic patient needs.

The role is full‑time, nights 7p–7a with 3 twelve‑hour shifts weekly. Candidates should hold an RN license, BLS, and NIHSS certification, and are encouraged to join a comprehensive Total Rewards program.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association
• NIHSS certificate obtained within 6 months of hire

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
• Use evidence‑based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skillful communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
