Job summary

Atrium Health in Shelby, NC is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Med‑Surg Float Pool II at Cleveland/Kings Mountain. This full-time role requires 36 hours per week with three 12-hour night shifts (7p–7a), rotating weekends and holidays per policy.

Pay ranges between $38.20 and $57.30 per hour. Eligible benefits include PTO, health/dental/vision, life and disability insurance, FSA, adoption assistance, parental leave, employer‑matched retirement, and educational assistance.

Qualifications

Completion of an accredited or approved nursing program.
Registered Nurse license issued by the practicing state.
BLS for Healthcare Providers certification (American Heart Association).
NIHSS certification obtained within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process.
Deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with standards, policies, and procedures.
Use evidence-based practice and clinical decision making to ensure patient safety and quality experience.
Communicate compassionately with interdisciplinary teams and patients.
