CoxHealth in Springfield, MO is seeking a Float Pool Medical-Surgical RN to manage care for adult and geriatric patients across medical and surgical services. You will assess patients, administer medications, monitor vitals, document care, and educate families.

Requirements include an accredited nursing program graduate and active Missouri RN license; BLS within 90 days and ACLS within 1 year. Opportunities exist for professional growth within a Magnet facility.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program or NLN approved program.
• RN license active in Missouri.
• BLS must be obtained within 90 days.
• ACLS must be obtained within 1 year.

Responsibilities

• Manage care of adult or geriatric patients with medical or general surgical conditions.
• Assess patient condition, administer medications, change dressings, monitor vital signs, document and educate patients and families.
• Collaborate within the float pool to support staffing and patient outcomes.
