Job summary

Mercy is seeking a Float Pool RN at Mercy Hospital Jefferson in Festus, MO. The role supports multiple units (ED, ICU, TCU, PCU, Med-Surg, Acute Rehab) and utilizes the nursing process to deliver patient care. Night shifts involve a 36-hour week with a premium sign-on bonus for graduates and experienced nurses.

The position emphasizes collaboration, patient rights, confidentiality, and Mercy Service Standards as core requirements for daily practice.

Qualifications

• Graduated from a school of nursing (Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN).
• RN licensure in the hiring state and/or compact licensure required.
• Basic Life Support certification either current or within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Float RN across ED, ICU, TCU, PCU, all Med-Surg units and Acute Rehab.
• Provide patient care via the nursing process and maintain patient rights/confidentiality.
• Coordinate care with other departments and support teamwork during night shifts.

Qualifications

Education: Graduated from a school of nursing (Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN).

Licensure: Is personally responsible for obtaining, and maintaining, a current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure in which nursing duties are performed and must meet all state board of nursing requirements.

Certifications:

• Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association or successful completion of course within 30 days of hire.
