Job summary

UMass Memorial Health is seeking a Registered Nurse (Non-Exempt) for Milford, MA. The role supports patient care from admission to discharge and adheres to the Nursing Process, with day shift hours and a 36-hour week.

Required certifications include MA nursing licensure, BLS; ACLS, PALS, and NRP in select areas. A BSN is highly preferred. Signing bonus may be available during interview; union presence is noted.

Qualifications

• Current Massachusetts nursing licensure and registration is required.
• BLS certification through AHA or ARC is required within 30 days of hire.
• ACLS is required in select areas within 6 months or first scheduled course offering.
• PALS is required in select areas within 6 months or first scheduled course offering.
• NRP Advanced Provider required in select areas within 6 months or first scheduled course offering.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the Nursing Process to deliver and manage patient care from admission to discharge.
• Perform patient assessments and reassessments per standard procedures.
• Develop and coordinate individualized care plans including discharge planning.
• Direct, supervise, and evaluate nursing care within the assigned setting.
• Delegate appropriately to others in accordance with competency and job description.
