FTE: 90% · Night Shift · Pay Range: $40.37 – $72.25 per hour. Union: SEIU 1199-RN and LPN.

Job Description

Responsible for providing and ensuring quality nursing care to patients in Imaging Services. The staff nurse uses the nursing process to identify needs, plan and implement appropriate interventions, and document and evaluate patient care outcomes. This is a professional‑level position that requires independent work within applicable policies, procedures, and practice standards. Strong interpersonal skills are essential for effective communication with the PICC team, Diagnostic Imaging (DI) staff, leadership, nursing staff, physician staff, patients, and families.

Responsibilities

• Identify patient needs and develop care plans.
• Implement nursing interventions and monitor patient responses.
• Document care and evaluate patient outcomes.
• Maintain effective communication with the PICC team and DI staff.
• Assist with PICC line placement and IV therapy.

Qualifications

Associate degree in nursing required; BSN preferred.

Two years of hospital nursing experience required. Preferred experience in radiology, IV team, PICC team, pediatrics, critical care, or emergency services.

Documented expertise with IV therapy responsibilities, including central venous device management and tunneled/embedded ports, during the past two years. Experience with PICC line placement and pediatric/adult straight catheter procedures also preferred.

Licensure/Credentials

• Current Washington Registered Nurse license.
• CPR and ACLS certification.
• Board certification as a radiology nurse (CRN) strongly encouraged.
• Professional membership in the American Radiology Nurse Association (ARNA) preferred.
