Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Professional Nursing.
• Current RN License by the Board of Nurse Examiners State of California
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) required
• Current ACLS required
• NIHSS Stroke certification required
• Minimum passing score of 80% on the Los Robles EKG exam required
• Minimum of one-year acute care RN experience required
• ICU-level nursing experience required
• Flexibility to float between all units (Med Surg to Critical Care) and adapt to varying patient ratios

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care through the nursing process in accordance with the California Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies.
• Deliver safe, competent care and participate in performance improvement and quality initiatives as appropriate.
