Qualifications

• BLS Provider credentialed within 30 days of hire date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Nurse Aide credentialed from the Wisconsin Nurse Aide Registry prior to hire date or job transfer date. Certified Nursing Assistant credentialed from the state of Wisconsin and in Nurse Aide Registry with eligibility to work in a hospital setting.
• Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Deliver essential and dignified personal care, promoting patient comfort, mobility, and independence in daily living activities.
• Communicate critical changes in patient status swiftly to the nursing staff for rapid clinical intervention.
• Document all patient care activities, vital signs, and observations in high-quality health records for continuity of care.
• Maintain a safe, healing environment by keeping patient rooms clean, well-stocked, and ensuring equipment is prepared and functioning.
