Job summary

Mass General Brigham is seeking a Part-time Patient Care Associate for onsite duties at North Shore Medical Center in Salem, MA. The role supports licensed staff by assisting with daily living activities, vital signs, and basic patient care tasks in a fast-paced clinical setting.

You will help with room preparation, charting in the electronic health record, patient transport, and observation duties while maintaining safety and quality care.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and strong patient/customer service skills.
• Ability to lift up to 35 pounds and to use EMR systems.
• BLS and relevant nursing assistant certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assists patients with activities of daily living and vital signs.
• Documents measurements and care in the Electronic Health Record (EHR).
• Sets up food trays, assists with feeding, and maintains room readiness.
• Supports admission, discharge, and transport as needed.
• Communicates with nursing staff to ensure safe, high-quality care.
