Corewell Health in Big Rapids, MI is hiring a part-time Float Pool Nurse Technician to support Emergency Department and Med Surg across Big Rapids and Reed City Hospitals. You will float to departments under RN supervision, perform basic patient care, and communicate observations to the care team.

The role requires a high school diploma, BLS certification within 90 days, and successful completion of orientation. Night shifts run 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m., 24 hours weekly.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 90 days.
• Successful completion of a competency-based orientation program.

Responsibilities

• Float to ED and Med Surg under RN supervision.
• Take vitals and report observations to the care team.
• Provide basic patient care such as bed bathing, ambulating, wound care, catheterization.
• Ensure documentation is accurate and timely.
