Job summary

The ChristianaCare Nurse Residency Program offers newly licensed nurses an intensive 12-month transition, with preceptor-led experiences across medical, surgical, and step-down units. Participants will rotate through our Wilmington and Christiana Hospitals in a structured float pool model while completing professional development and ACLS/Dysrhythmia training.

Successful candidates will sign an employment agreement after training; the October 26, 2026 start is contingent on completing interviews

Qualifications

• BSN preferred from accredited nursing program.
• BLS certification required.
• Less than 12 months nursing experience by start date.
• Delaware RN license eligibility before start date.
• Willing to work all shifts including weekends/holidays.

Responsibilities

• Complete 12-month Nurse Residency with preceptor-led experiences.
• ACLS and dysrhythmia training included.
• Float between Wilmington and Christiana Hospitals across units.
• Pass State Boards and obtain Delaware RN license prior to start.
