Qualifications

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• CNA preferred, One year of experience preferred.
• Completion of a Nurse Assistant program (titles for similar programs may vary).
• Foreign trained and licensed RN who has relocated to the United States and does not hold a Michigan RN license.
• May be enrolled in a nursing program and completed the Fundamentals of Nursing course.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Direct Patient Care: venipuncture, blood draws, vital signs, chemstick testing.
• Collaborate on Care Planning: participate in team rounds and share observations.
• Communicate with Purpose: report patient concerns to the RN promptly.
• Respond with Confidence: follow protocols in emergent situations to support the clinical team.
• Embrace Professional Growth: engage in continuing education to expand clinical skills.
