Job summary

Crest Healthcare Group is seeking Float Pool Nurses (RNs and LPNs) to support multiple skilled nursing facilities across Southern and Central Illinois. This role requires LTC experience and proficiency with PointClickCare (PCC).

Night shifts are prioritized, with travel between facilities as needed. As a Float Pool Nurse, you’ll provide compassionate, resident-centered care, document accurately in PCC, and adapt quickly to different teams and environments while upholding high standards of safety

Qualifications

• Current Illinois RN or LPN license.
• Long-term care (LTC) or skilled nursing experience required.
• PCC experience required.
• Willingness to work night shifts as needed.
• Reliable transportation and travel up to 1.5 hours from home.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to residents within scope of practice.
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely.
• Complete timely clinical documentation using PCC.
• Monitor resident conditions and communicate changes to care team.
• Float between facilities based on staffing needs.
• Maintain high standards of resident care and safety.
• Adapt quickly to different facility environments and teams.

Crest Healthcare Group is seeking experienced and dependable Float Pool Nurses (RNs and LPNs) to support our skilled nursing facilities throughout Southern and Central Illinois.

We're looking for nurses who are comfortable stepping into different skilled nursing environments, adapting quickly, and providing high-quality resident care. For this opportunity, candidates must have previous long-term care (LTC) experience and experience using PointClickCare (PCC).

Our greatest current staffing need is on night shift, so candidates must be willing to work nights as needed. This regional float pool position also requires travel between facilities based on staffing needs.

Your Role

• Provide high-quality nursing care to residents within your scope of practice

• Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely

• Perform additional nursing duties as assigned

Who We're Looking For

• Current Illinois RN or LPN license

• Previous long‑term care (LTC) or skilled nursing experience required

• PointClickCare (PCC) experience required

• Must be willing and available to work night shifts as needed, as nights are currently our greatest staffing need

• Reliable transportation and willingness to regularly travel up to 1.5 hours from home

• Willingness to travel up to approximately 2 hours when additional coverage is needed

• Strong clinical, communication, and documentation skills

• Dependable, flexible, and team-oriented

• Ability to adapt quickly and work effectively with different teams and facility environments

• Passion for providing compassionate, high‑quality resident care
