Job summary

PMC Medical Staffing seeks a Medical Receptionist for its Float Pool to support multiple clinics across Genesee, Oakland, Saginaw, and Lapeer counties. You will greet patients, manage check-ins/outs, verify identities, and keep demographics current in the EMR.

This role requires daily travel to different sites, reliable transportation, and Epic EMR experience is a plus. Training provided with potential for permanent placement in a single office.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 1 year medical office or customer service experience preferred.
• Epic EMR experience is a significant plus.
• Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients, check in/out, verify identity, and update demographics in the EMR.
• Manage provider calendars, schedule appointments, and handle cancellations/rescheduling.
• Verify insurance eligibility, obtain authorizations, and collect co-pays or balances.
• Answer high-volume calls and route messages to appropriate departments.
