Job summary

Munson Healthcare is seeking a Medical Assistant Regional Float for the East Region Ambulatory System in northern Michigan. The role is a PRN float serving Gaylord, Grayling, Harbor Springs, Charlevoix, and Petoskey, with a premium pay rate for floating across clinics.

You will perform clinical and administrative tasks alongside providers, supporting patient care and clinic operations across diverse specialties. Weekend coverage may be required depending on the float schedule.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED equivalent is required.
• 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant is required.
• BLS certification preferred and must be obtained within 90 days of hire and maintained.

Responsibilities

• Complete clinical and administrative tasks within the clinic and assist the provider to ensure patient care and clinic flow.
• Support multiple clinics within the East Region Ambulatory System as a Floating Medical Assistant.
• May cover weekends as part of Float schedule; normal clinics operate Mon–Fri with occasional weekend shifts.
