Genesis Internal Float Pool in Maine is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to provide high-quality nursing care on 12-hour shifts, with options for day or night coverage. The float pool supports multiple units, delivering efficient patient care while collaborating with RNs and other team members.

The ideal candidate is a graduate of an approved LPN program, licensed or eligible for licensure, and holds current BLS/CPR certification.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an approved school for practical or vocational nursing.
• Must be currently licensed by the State Board of Nursing or pending licensure.
• BLS/CPR certification required or as state practice requires.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate residents to collect data, observe changes and report them.
• Contribute to nursing assessments and care planning.
• Administer medications and perform treatments per physician orders.
• Supervise and monitor care provided by unlicensed staff.

Responsibilities

Under the direction of a Registered Nurse (RN), the Licensed Practical Nurse delivers efficient and effective nursing care while achieving positive clinical outcomes and patient/family satisfaction.
