Job summary

Float pool differential applies, with day and night shifts available. Candidates must hold CNA and BLS certifications, have strong communication skills, and be comfortable with computer documentation.

Qualifications

• Current Nursing Assistant Certification (CNA) in the state of practice.
• Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers.
• Demonstrated basic computer literacy skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic patient care including toileting, bathing, linen changes, and comfort measures.
• Report changes in patient condition promptly and seek assistance as needed.
• May perform telemetry duties and monitor patients as required.
• Transport medications to RN and collaborate with the care team.
• Possibly assume Health Unit Coordinator responsibilities (phones, orders, unit records).
• Follow care plans and safety policies; act in emergencies.
