Job summary

Global Medical Response’s Air Evac Lifeteam is hiring a Helicopter Pilot to provide medical air transportation services. The role requires maintaining certifications, collaborating with dispatch and flight crews, and ensuring safety and readiness for missions.

Eligible candidates include those with a rotorcraft FAA commercial certificate, instrument rating, and 2,000 total flight hours, including 1,500 helicopter hours and 1,000 PIC hours. Sign-on and retention bonuses are offered.

Qualifications

• Current Rotorcraft FAA Commercial Certificate.
• Helicopter instrument rating.
• Current FAA Class II Medical Certificate.

Responsibilities

• Transport patients safely with a team of medical professionals to and from locations and facilities.
• Ensure aircraft readiness for flight dispatch and maintain aircraft cleanliness and duties per FAR and Air Evac Lifeteam requirements.
• Maintain accurate regulatory documentation and records.

Salary range $100,071 - $110,079

$15K Sign on Bonus, subject to eligibility

$12K Float Stipend

$50.00/Day Per Diem and paid travel/accommodations while on shift

Retention Bonus plans ($40,000 after 3 years plus additional retention bonuses once completed)

Responsibilities

• Working with a team of medical expertstosafelytransport customers to and fromlocations and facilities
• Ensure aircraft readiness for flight dispatchesas described in the appropriate manuals,includingallFARand Air Evac Lifeteamrequirements, andaircraft cleanlinessduties
• MaintainaccurateAEL and regulatorydocumentation andrecord keeping
• Effectively communicate and collaboratewith dispatch, flight crews,facilities,and partners
• Provide shift change infoto successive pilotandteam followingprotocol forrecordingAir Evac Lifeteam change boarddetails
• Accountable tomaintainrequiredcertifications and ongoing training

MinimumRequirements

• Current Rotorcraft FAA Commercial Certificate
• Helicopter instrument rating
• Current FAA Class II Medical Certificate
• 2,000 Total Flight Hours
• 1,500 Helicopter Hours
• 1,000 Helicopter PIC Hours
• 500 Turbine Helicopter Hours
• 100 Helicopter Night Flight Hours (Aided or Unaided)
• 230 pound weight limit with flight gear

Preferred Qualifications

• EC130 Aircraft Experience
• High School Diploma/Equivalent or Higher
