Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Float Phlebotomist to join our team in Arizona (Phoenix metro) to cover multiple sites including Peoria, Glendale, Sun City and Scottsdale. The role requires performing blood collections, collecting specimens, data entry, and maintaining logs while traveling to additional sites as needed.

Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent; preferred are phlebotomy certification and experience with diverse patient populations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 2+ years experience as a phlebotomist preferred.
• Experience drawing on pediatrics to geriatrics is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
