Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist Float Casual to join our team in Chino Valley, Prescott, Prescott Valley, AZ and surrounding areas. This casual/PRN position means hours will be as needed and shift times vary.

You will perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all ages, collect specimens for screens and tests, enter patient data, handle billing when required, and travel to additional sites. A phlebotomy certification or approved training is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Phlebotomy certification or accredited training required.
• Be at least 21 years of age; valid driver’s license with clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information accurately and timely.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
