Job summary

Interpath Laboratory in Idaho is seeking a Phlebotomist/Processor to join our Float team, performing venipuncture and specimen processing across multiple locations. This role supports pediatric care and requires strong attention to detail and reliability.

Requires 1 year of phlebotomy experience, high school diploma, and a valid driver's license. Benefits include Medical/Dental/Vision, 401(k) with match, PTO, and in-house testing.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of professional phlebotomy experience required.
• Experience in clinical laboratory, physician office, hospital, or healthcare setting preferred.
• Experience with a variety of patient populations preferred.
• Previous float, multi-site, or coverage-based experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform venipuncture for blood collection and obtain additional specimen types as required.
• Prepare all samples for lab testing and screening, with focus on pediatric patients.
• Verify specimen information, perform data entry, and correctly identify patient information.
• Receive, process, and package samples for referral labs while maintaining specimen integrity.
• Follow safety protocols, HIPAA policies, Medicare rules, and participate in QA activities.
• Support clinic operations and coverage to ensure smooth day-to-day workflow.
• Maintain reliable attendance to support team and patients.
