Job summary

Quest Diagnostics is hiring a Phlebotomist III- Float to draw blood samples, prepare specimens, and support patient service across multiple locations. You will explain procedures, ensure safety and accuracy, and lead on-site teams in a fast-paced, high-volume setting.

The role requires extensive phlebotomy experience, strong patient-facing skills, and the ability to coach others. Shifts are Monday–Friday, 7:30 a.m.–4 p.m. EST, with on-site work at various sites.

Qualifications

• Five years phlebotomy experience required, including pediatric, geriatric and capillary collections.
• Medical training: phlebotomy training preferred.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred; required in CA, NV, WA.

Responsibilities

• Draw quality blood samples from patients and prepare specimens for lab testing.
• Explain procedures to patients and maintain a trustworthy, calm environment.
• Lead on-site activities and coach new staff; coordinate with multiple departments.
