Job summary

Pride Health in Gainesville, FL seeks a Phlebotomist II - Float for a 5+ month contract (with potential extension or conversion). Start ASAP.

Shift is 5:00 AM – 3:00 PM, Monday–Friday with rotation Saturdays; 40 hours per week. Responsibilities include venipuncture and capillary collections across pediatric, geriatric, and adult patients, labeling specimens, maintaining documentation, and traveling between Patient Service Centers and physician offices.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of phlebotomy experience required.
• Education: High School Diploma or GED.
• Experience with pediatric, geriatric and capillary collections.

Responsibilities

• Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collections with accuracy and professionalism.
• Collect specimens from pediatric, geriatric, and adult patients.
• Process and prepare specimens for laboratory testing following established procedures.
• Verify patient identity and accurately label specimens in the patient's presence.
• Maintain complete and accurate patient documentation.
• Travel between multiple Patient Service Centers and physician office locations as assigned.
• Deliver exceptional customer service while ensuring patient comfort and confidentiality.
• Adapt quickly to changing schedules and staffing needs.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Join Pride Health as a Phlebotomist II - Float at Gainesville, FL! This is a 5+ months contract role (with high possibility of extension or conversion) offering a great opportunity for experience to excel in a dynamic environment.

Shift Schedule: Monday–Friday | 5:00 AM – 3:00 PM (Rotation Saturdays)

Hours per Week: 40 hours

Start Date: ASAP

Pay Highlights: $22-24/hour (Based on years of experience & education)

Note

1. Candidate must have reliable transportation, valid driver license, and clean driving record.

2. Floaters are eligible to submit mileage between work locations for expense reimbursement.

Key Responsibilities

Qualifications
