Job summary

Genoa Healthcare, part of UnitedHealth Group, seeks a Float Pharmacy Technician to support all functions of the Genoa mental health pharmacy. You will dispense prescriptions and perform clerical duties under the direct supervision of a Registered Pharmacist, with travel to sites across Minnesota as needed. Hours are 7:30am–5:30pm, Monday–Friday, with travel to Minneapolis, St.

Paul, St. Cloud, and Mankato. Primary responsibilities include inventory management, order processing, and ensuring

Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted Pharmacy Technician license in Minnesota.
• Access to reliable transportation and valid US drivers license.
• Ability to use your own car to get to each location as business needs arise.

Responsibilities

• Provide dispensing support under supervision of a Registered Pharmacist.
• Fills prescription orders and makes them available for verification under direct supervision of the Registered Pharmacist.
• Orders, receives and stores incoming pharmacy supplies.
• Receives and processes wholesaler medication orders.
• Verifies medication stock and enters data in computer to maintain inventory records.
• Works with the Pharmacist to assist in the pharmacy functions and keeping the pharmacy in compliance with all federal and state requirements.
• Performs various clerical duties relating to the department.
• Communicates with strong professional verbal and written communication skills.
• Other duties as assigned.

We seek a Float PharmacyTechnician to support all functions of the Genoa mental health pharmacy, primarily through dispensing medical prescriptions, and performing necessary clerical duties while under the direct supervision of a Registered Pharmacist.

Hours:

You will be working between the hours of 7:30am to 5:30pm Monday-Friday (specific hours will be determined on the site you will be covering for the day)

Location:

You will be based out of the Edina area, but when business needs arise, you will also need to be willing to travel to sites throughout MN, for example: Minneapolis, St. Paul, St. Cloud, and Mankato
