Genoa Healthcare is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support in-clinic pharmacies across Minnesota. Based in the Edina area with occasional travel to sites such as Minneapolis, St. Paul, St.

Cloud, and Mankato, you will fill prescriptions under supervision, manage supplies, and assist the Pharmacist to maintain compliant operations. You must hold an active Minnesota Pharmacy Technician license, have reliable transportation and a valid US driver’s license, and be prepared to travel as business

• Active and unrestricted Pharmacy Technician license in Minnesota
• Access to reliable transportation and a valid US driver's license
• Ability to use your own car to get to each location as business needs arise

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to all consumers and clinic staff
• Fills prescription orders and prepares them under direct supervision of the Pharmacist
• Orders, receives and stores incoming pharmacy supplies
• Receives and processes wholesaler medication orders
• Verifies medication stock and updates inventory records
• Works with the Pharmacist to assist in pharmacy functions and ensure compliance with federal and state requirements
• Performs various clerical duties relating to the department
• Communicates with strong professional verbal and written communication skills
• Other duties as assigned

Hours:

You will be working between the hours of 7:30am to 5:30pm Monday-Friday (specific hours will be determined on the site you will be covering for the day)

Location:

You will be based out of the Edina area, but when business needs arise, you will also need to be willing to travel to sites throughout MN, for example: Minneapolis, St. Paul, St. Cloud, and Mankato

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide exceptional customer service to all consumers and members of the clinic staff
• Fills prescription orders and makes them available for verification under direct supervision of the Registered Pharmacist
• Orders, receives and stores incoming pharmacy supplies
• Receives and processes wholesaler medication orders
• Verifies medication stock and enters data in computer to maintain inventory records
• Works with the Pharmacist to assist in the pharmacy functions and keeping the pharmacy in compliance with all federal and state requirements
• Performs various clerical duties relating to the department
• Communicates with strong professional verbal and written communication skills
• Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:

• Active and unrestricted Pharmacy Technician license in the state of Minnesota
• Access to reliable transportation and valid US driver's license

Preferred Qualifications:

• National Pharmacy Technician Certification
• Pharmacy and prescription data entry experience
