Job summary

Fairview Health Services seeks an experienced Float Pharmacy Coordinator for its Oncology Pharmacy, based at the Clinic and Surgery Center near the University of Minnesota campus. This 1.0 FTE day shift role includes limited weekend rotation and travel to Southdale, Maple Grove, and Burnsville infusion centers.

You will work with providers, patients and staff to navigate medication needs, ensure regulatory compliance, manage inventory, and support complex compounding and distribution, including

Qualifications

• 1 year of Pharmacy Technician experience in a pharmacy setting.
• Registered Technician with Minnesota Board of Pharmacy.
• Pharmacy certification through the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) or NH certification accepted if hired before 2018.

Responsibilities

• Ensure accurate, safe dispensing of medications in compliance with laws and policies.
• Assist with billing, prior authorizations, and insurance eligibility as needed.
• Prepare, dispense, and verify drug therapy under pharmacist supervision.
• Coordinate ordering, delivery and inventory across multiple sites.
• Maintain sterile compounding areas and regulatory compliance.

Education

Minnesota Board of Pharmacy Registered Technician (MNBP)

Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB)

Bachelor of Science/Arts in business or healthcare (preferred)
