Job summary

Genoa Healthcare, part of UnitedHealth Group, is seeking a Float Pharmacist to support pharmacies across the Phoenix metro area. You will perform standard pharmacist duties, provide patient counseling, and ensure compliance with state boards while delivering exceptional service.

This role requires license in AZ, PharmD/BS Pharmacy, and immunization certification or willingness to obtain within 3 months. Travel up to 50% is involved; schedule is Mon-Fri, 8:00am-5:00pm.

Qualifications

• BS Pharmacy or PharmD required.
• AZ Pharmacist license required.
• Immunization Certification or willingness to obtain within 3 months.
• Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation.
• 1+ years of Pharmacy experience (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Distributes drugs prescribed by physicians and other health practitioners.
• Provides information to customers about medications and their use.
• Focuses on providing a superior level of customer service.
• Ensures compliance with all relevant laws of the applicable State Board of Pharmacy.
• Administration of immunizations as allowed by State Boards of Pharmacy.
• Any other usual and customary pharmacy duties.
• Travel up to 50%.

We seek a Float Pharmacist to perform professional duties and responsibilities associated with the processing of prescriptions.

Schedule of Genoa Healthcare Pharmacies are Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm. Candidates must have some availability during that time.

Location - Floating to multiple sites in the metro Phoenix area.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Distributes drugs prescribed by physicians and other health practitioners
• Provides information to customers about medications and their use
• Focuses on providing a superior level of customer service
• Ensures compliance with all relevant laws of the applicable State Board of Pharmacy
• Administration of immunizations as allowed by State Boards of Pharmacy
• Any other usual and customary pharmacy duties
• Travel up to 50%

Required Qualifications:

• BS Pharmacy or Pharm D
• Current pharmacist's license in the state of AZ
• Immunization Certification or willingness to obtain within 3 months of hire
• Valid Drivers License
• Reliable transportation

Preferred Qualifications:

• 1+ years of Pharmacy experience

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The hourly pay for this role will range from $44.00 to $79.00 per hour based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
