Job summary

Genoa Healthcare seeks a Float Pharmacist for Central Michigan to perform professional duties related to prescription processing. This onsite role requires availability 35 hours weekly, Monday–Friday 8:00am–6:00pm, with occasional Saturdays 11:00am–2:00pm across locations in Saginaw, Flint, Alma, West Branch, Stanton, Lapeer, Sandusky, Mt.

Qualifications

• Bachelors Degree in Pharmacy or PharmD.
• Current pharmacist license in state of Michigan.
• Certified immunizer or willing to become an immunizer within 3 months of hire.
• Access to reliable transportation and valid drivers license.

Responsibilities

• Distributes drugs prescribed by physicians and other health practitioners.
• Provides information to customers about medications and their use.
• Focuses on providing a superior level of customer service.
• Ensures compliance with all relevant laws of the applicable State Board of Pharmacy.
• Administration of immunizations as allowed by State Boards of Pharmacy.
• Any other usual and customary pharmacy duties.

This onsite position will be scheduled 35 hours per week during the pharmacy hours of Monday-Friday: 8:00am-6:00pm, occasional Saturdays 11:00am-2:00pm. Candidates must have availability during that time.
Locations include: Saginaw, Flint, Alma, West Branch, Stanton, Lapeer, Sandusky, Mt. Pleasant, Bad Axe

Primary Responsibilities:

Required Qualifications:

Preferred Qualification:

• Authorization to administer long-acting injectables or willing to obtain within 3 months of hire

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The hourly pay for this role will range from $44.09 to $78.70 per hour based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
