Job summary

Legacy Community Health is seeking a Float Pediatrician to deliver comprehensive pediatric care for children and teens in a community health setting. The role emphasizes preventive care, coordination with families, and collaborative practice with the care team.

Typical schedule is 8AM-5PM with flexible clinic coverage, including evenings and weekends as needed. This position supports growth, leadership, and ongoing quality improvement within our Houston network.

Qualifications

• MD license in good standing and current medical licensure.
• Board certification or eligibility in Pediatrics.
• Ability to participate in Medicare/Medicaid and other programs as requested by Legacy.

Responsibilities

• Perform pediatric assessments and provide treatment for children and adolescents.
• Maintain flexible scheduling including days, evenings, and weekends as needed.
• Develop and maintain pediatric clinical protocols and quality assurance.
• Supervise health care students and non-physician providers in pediatric care.
• Engage in patient education and community health initiatives.
• Participate in Performance Improvement activities and team meetings.
