Job summary

AMR is hiring Float Paramedics to deliver compassionate, high-quality care and advanced patient services on 911 responses. This full-time position offers a salary range from $57,200 to $69,212 per year, depending on experience.

Shifts may involve work in Kansas and Missouri locations. Candidates must have KS/MO paramedic certifications, a valid state driver’s license, and BLS/ACLS on hire, with PALS preferred.

Qualifications

• Paramedic certifications valid for KS/MO.
• BLS and ACLS required upon hire; PALS preferred.
• State Driver’s License required.

Responsibilities

• Assess each call to determine best action with protocol.
• Provide advanced medical care using defibrillator, monitor, O2, suction, IV fluids.
• Communicate with patients and families to explain care.
• Lead the Paramedic team and manage scene/units as needed.
• Drive the ambulance on 911 responses.
• Collaborate with allied health and safety personnel.
