Job summary

UnityPoint Clinic seeks a Float Nurse (RN or LPN) to provide care across multiple Sioux City metro clinics. This full-time role offers variety, collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, and opportunities to expand clinical skills.

Responsibilities include patient assessments, procedures, immunizations, education, and coordination of referrals within the RN scope. Travel between primary and specialty clinics is expected, with Monday–Friday 8AM–5PM shifts and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted RN license in IA; compact licensure recognized by practice states (IA, NE).
• Experience in outpatient/ambulatory clinics preferred.
• Strong communication and organizational skills; ability to adapt to different clinical environments.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care across primary care and specialty clinics in the Sioux City Metro.
• Room patients, obtain health histories, document vitals in EPIC.
• Assist providers with examinations, in-office procedures, and treatments.
• Administer medications, immunizations, injections, and other RN scope tasks.
• Provide patient education on diagnoses, medications, and follow-up care.
• Coordinate referrals and diagnostic testing; manage prior authorizations.
• Collaborate with care teams to ensure efficient clinic operations and patient experience.
• Maintain safe, clean clinical environment in line with infection prevention standards.
• Adapt to different clinic workflows while upholding standards.
