Job summary

Rediscover seeks a Float Nurse to join the Medication Services Department in a mission-driven, nonprofit setting. You'll support multiple clinics, provide nursing care, assess clients, and coordinate with a multidisciplinary team to promote stability and wellness.

The role requires an active Missouri RN or LPN license, 2 years of mental health clinical experience preferred, and strong communication skills. We offer professional growth and a collaborative work culture in the Kansas City metro

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
• Active Missouri license as RN or LPN (or eligibility).
• At least two years of mental health direct care preferred.
• Knowledge of community resources and health systems.

Responsibilities

• Complete initial assessment/history on clients entering treatment.
• Educate clients and families on symptoms, medications and side effects.
• Maintain documentation in the EMR and coordinate with the team.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support client care.
• Provide a trauma-informed welcoming approach to all clients.

Through our Med Clinics—located across several ReDiscover sites—our compassionate team partners with clients to evaluate their needs, prescribe appropriate medications, and provide ongoing monitoring and support.What You'll DoComplete initial assessment/history on all clients entering treatment.Strategically use assessment information to make an appropriate clinical evaluation of client's current conditions in a timely manner.
