Job summary

Neighborhood Healthcare is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to float among Riverside County clinics, delivering patient-centered care under provider direction. The role involves regular travel, assessment of training opportunities, and collaboration with a dynamic care team.

Required are CA NP/PA credentials (master’s, CA license, DEA), BLS, and board certification or eligibility within 12 months; compensation includes a substantial pay range and a $15,000 annual float

Qualifications

• Master’s degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
• Active California Nurse Practitioner and Registered Nursing license in good standing.
• Current CA DEA licensure.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required upon hire.
• Board Certification (ANCC/AANPCB) or eligible within 12 months.
• Master’s degree from an accredited Physician Assistant Program.
• Active California Physician Assistant License in good standing.
• Current CA DEA licensure.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required upon hire.
• Board Certification (NCCPA) or eligible within 12 months.

Responsibilities

• The float position requires regular travel between assigned locations within the organization’s service area.
• Assigned site varies based on operational needs.
• Performs physical examinations and preventive health measures per guidelines.
• Orders, interprets, and evaluates diagnostic tests.
• Records physical findings and formulates plan and prognosis.
• Discusses cases with providers to prepare care plans.
• Submits health plans for periodic review.
• Prescribes or recommends drugs or other therapies.
• Refer patients to providers for specialized care.
• Promote organizational activities aligned to the mission.
• Identify training needs for the team.
• Perform duties per NP Supervisory Agreement.
• Impact patient experiences by courteous care and accuracy.
• Coordinate with care teams for outcomes.
