Job summary

Virtua in Mount Holly, NJ is seeking a Part-time Med Tech MT/MLT Generalist for evenings and nights with an every other weekend rotation. You will analyze, validate, and interpret complex lab procedures for patient samples, and float across shifts as needed to support operations.

Qualified candidates have a bachelor’s degree in laboratory science and a CLIA externship, with ASCP or equivalent certification preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum of externship in a CLIA laboratory.
• Good Interpersonal and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Analyzes, interprets, and validates laboratory procedures of various complexities.
• Performs moderate and high complexity testing accurately and without direct supervision.
• Post-analytically validates results, investigates deviations, and applies corrective action.
• Operates, maintains, and troubleshoots laboratory equipment as required.
