Primary Health Medical Group in Boise is seeking a Medical Office Receptionist to join a float position across Treasure Valley clinics, starting at $17.25/hour with a $2.00/hour differential. The role offers a set schedule and full benefits, with the home clinic at Chinden.

You will handle patient check-ins, data entry, scheduling, and insurance information, while delivering friendly, efficient service across multiple sites. EHR experience is a plus and professionalism is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous customer service; healthcare experience preferred; EHR experience a plus
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment with professionalism
• Computer proficiency and ability to use applicable software
• Vaccination recommendations including influenza, Tdap, MMR, Varicella, and TB

Responsabilités

• Provide high-quality customer service on the phone and in person
• Greet patients and visitors, determine needs, and direct them
• Data entry of demographic and insurance information
• Schedule and register patients, collecting required data
• Handle telephone calls from patients and representatives
• Scan and fax patient information
• Answer questions within scope of practice; refer others to departments
• Collect co-pays, deductibles and past balances; update insurance info
• Perform other duties as assigned
