Rush University Medical Center is seeking a Patient Service Specialist for a float position. The role involves front desk responsibilities across outpatient clinics in the Phoenix area, welcoming patients, scheduling appointments, and guiding them through visits.

Travel within clinics is required, and the schedule runs weekdays with 8-hour shifts. Full-time employment includes benefits such as medical, dental, vision, PTO, and a company-matching 401(k) plan.

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• At least 1 year of medical office experience.
• Preferred: 1 year of front desk experience and healthcare background.

Responsabilidades

• Greet and register patients and provide information about visits and upcoming appointments.
• Schedule patient appointments in person and by phone.
• Coordinate with attorneys, insurance companies, translation services, and operations leadership.
• Collect co-pays; manage payer approvals; and perform insurance authorizations and verifications.
