Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Graduate of a Medical Assistant Program OR 1 year of clinical experience.
• Obtain Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Greet and escort patients to exam rooms and obtain initial information and vital signs.
• Prepare exam rooms with cleanliness and necessary supplies.
• Assist with exams, tests, and procedures.
• Schedule appointments and coordinate referrals as needed.
• Support providers during patient examinations and procedures.
• Educate patients on follow-up expectations.
• Maintain quality control/logs and ensure equipment works properly.
• Assist with administrative tasks and cash deposits as needed.
