Advanced ENT & Allergy, an affiliate of SENTA Partners, seeks a Float Medical Assistant to support clinical operations across multiple Louisville offices. The ideal candidate is dependable, organized, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

The position entails taking vitals, drawing blood, medication administration, EMR data entry, and assisting physicians with exams. Join a collaborative MSO focused on patient care and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Qualified candidate interacts professionally with patients.
• Ability to take vitals and record measurements accurately.
• Experience supporting physicians in exam rooms and clinical settings.

Responsibilities

• Interacts professionally with patients.
• Accompanies and prepares patients for physician visits.
• Takes vitals (blood pressure, pulse, temperature, weight, height) and enters into EMR.
• Obtains current medication lists and reconciles allergies during visits.
• Documents patient history and chief complaints clearly.
• Performs office tests (e.g., rapid strep, smell tests) and records results.
• Updates surgical history after procedures and return visits.
• Draws blood and labels specimens for the lab as per insurance requirements.
• Obtains informed consent and administers intramuscular injections; records completion in EHR.
• Communicates next steps and ensures timely patient flow to minimize waits.
• Cleans and prepares exam rooms and responds to nursing messages.
• Assists with sending prescriptions per physician direction.
• Ensures compliance with laws, regulations, and company policies.
