Urology Austin in the North Market area seeks a Float Medical Assistant to support Round Rock, Georgetown, and Cedar Park clinics. The role requires traveling between locations to assist physicians and staff while maintaining patient flow.

You will perform phlebotomy, vital signs, EMR documentation, and ensure rooms are stocked and cleaned. Part-time position with $24–$28 per hour; CMA/RMA/CCMA certification plus driving reliability required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Graduate of accredited Medical Assistant program.
• Current CMA, RMA, or CCMA certification.
• 1+ year MA experience in clinical setting preferred.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver's license.
• Excellent communication and multitasking skills.
• Proficient with EMR and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Float between North Market clinics to provide clinical support as scheduled.
• Escort patients to exam rooms and obtain vitals, allergies, and medication lists.
• Assist providers with exams, procedures, and diagnostic tests.
• Perform phlebotomy, specimen collection, and lab processing as trained and authorized.
• Stock, clean, and sanitize exam rooms after each patient.
• Maintain OSHA, HIPAA, and infection control standards.
• Record all patient data accurately in EMR.
• Communicate priorities and coverage needs with providers and site managers.
