The purpose of this position is to provide clinical support on an as-needed basis across all Urology Austin locations. The Float Medical Assistant assists physicians and advanced practice providers with patient care and clinical tasks to maintain efficient patient flow and high-quality service during staff absences, high-volume periods, or special projects.

This role is primarily performed in a clinic office setting with moderate noise and frequent staff and patient interaction. Regular activities include sitting, typing, talking, and hearing, with occasional walking, reaching, and lifting up to 20 pounds. Vision requirements include close and distance vision, peripheral vision, and focus adjustment. Minimal exposure to communicable diseases may occur, and periods of stress can arise when handling time-sensitive or sensitive tasks. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.
$24.00 – $28.00 per hour (As needed basis - Part Time)
