Job summary

The Christ Hospital Health Network in Ohio is seeking a Medical Assistant to support physicians with patient exams, chart preparation, specimen handling, and routine clinical tasks in a busy clinic.

You will document in the EMR, assist with vital signs, phlebotomy, EKGs, and coordinate scheduling and pre-certifications. A strong computer and communication skillset is essential, with 2–5 years of MA experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; MA program graduate preferred.
• 2–5 years MA or relevant healthcare experience preferred.
• Proficient computer skills with Outlook, Excel, EMR, and scheduling systems.

Responsibilities

• Maintain patient flow during clinic hours and document systems reviews and vital signs.
• Prepare patient charts in EMR and ensure all tests and reports are in the chart.
• Refill medications and coordinate with pharmacy/insurance as needed.
• Obtain medical information and manage calls, MyChart messages, and patient queues.
• Operate EKGs and monitors; perform phlebotomy and minor procedures as assigned.
• Maintain a safe, confidential environment and adhere to regulations and quality measures.
