Job summary

Welcome Health is seeking a Medical Assistant – Float to support clinical operations across our Bell, CA and Riverside clinics. The role involves in-clinic duties, rooming patients, taking vitals, and assisting with home visits and telehealth as needed.

Candidates should have active MA certification, experience with older adults, and comfort with technology; Spanish proficiency is a plus. This is a fast-paced, team-based environment with strong emphasis on patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering clinical care, preferably in outpatient or home settings.
• Prior experience working with older adults (65+) is strongly preferred.
• Active Medical Assistant certification is required.
• Basic proficiency in MS Office products.
• Fluency in Spanish is strongly preferred.
• US work authorization is required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare exam and treatment rooms with necessary instruments and supplies.
• Assist clinicians by rooming patients and taking vitals.
• Collect clinical and psycho-social information from patients.
• Assist with telehealth and home-based care as needed.
• Perform basic patient documentation and procurement of referrals as directed by the physician.
• Support clinic operations and patient scheduling.
