Job summary

CenterWell Senior Primary Care is seeking a Float Medical Assistant to work at multiple Georgia clinics. This onsite outpatient position reports to the Associate Operations Director and performs clinical duties across sites.

Responsibilities include taking vitals, administering medications, phlebotomy, specimen collection, and maintaining exam rooms. TB screening may be required for selected candidates.

Qualifications

  • MA school/training program completed and certified/registered MA with 5+ years experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • CPR certification
  • This role is part of TB screening program and TB screening may be required

  • Perform phlebotomy and collect specimens
  • Sterilize and clean equipment; maintain examination rooms
  • Document information into the electronic medical records system

Job description

Become a part of our caring community As a Float Medical Assistant, you will work at several clinics within our Georgia Market. This is an onsite outpatient setting. You will report to the Associate Operations Director.

You Will Perform Clinical Duties Such As
  • Discussing symptoms and obtaining vital signs
  • Medication/vaccine administration
  • Phlebotomy and collecting specimens
  • Sterilizing/cleaning equipment and maintaining examination rooms
  • Documenting information into the electronic medical records system

Use your skills to make an impact

  • Successful completion of MA school/training program and a Certified/Registered Medical Assistant or Certified/Registered Medical Assistant with 5+ years of experience and approval from Provider
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • CPR Certified
  • This role is considered patient facing and is part of the company's Tuberculosis (TB) screening program. If selected for this role, you will be required to be screened for TB.
Preferred
  • Phlebotomy experience
  • Medication/vaccine administration experience
  • 1+ years of MA experience
  • Value Based Care experience including knowledge of HEDIS, CPT/ICD coding, and CAHPS/HOS Patient Experience.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish - must pass proficiency exam prior to foreign language communication

$43,000 - $56,200 per year

This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
